Dr Preet Bhogal

BDS MFDS RCS (Eng) MOrth RCS (Edin) MPhil(Orthodontics)

Preet graduated from Birmingham University in 2000, winning the Walpole-Day Prize in Orthodontics. He subsequently undertook several posts involving Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Treatment under Sedation. He also worked concurrently in General Dental Practice. During this time, he obtained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

In 2005, Preet undertook specialist training in orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this training, he was awarded Master of Philosophy (Orthodontics). In 2008, he obtained Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the GDC, which recognises that he has followed the highest standard of training possible in orthodontics in the UK.

Preet has considerable specialist practice experience having worked in a number of well-established specialist orthodontic practices and private cosmetic dental practices in the West End of London and the Midlands. He currently works on a sessional basis at the renowned London Smile Clinic (as seen on TV’s Embarrassing Bodies and 10 Years Younger) as the in-house lead orthodontist.

Preet has a keen interest in the field of contemporary adult orthodontics, interdisciplinary treatment and the use of aesthetic braces, including Invisalign and hidden lingual braces (Incognito). He is one of the leading providers of Incognito in the UK.

Preet believes in a philosophy of long-term retention to ensure that patients retain their straight smile forever.

In his spare time he enjoys keeping fit, playing football and socialising. He has travelled extensively, including many global orthodontic conferences where he enjoys meeting up with international colleagues.

 

Dr Zia Ud-Din

BDS MPhil (Orth) MFDS RCS (Edin) MOrthRCS (Edin)

Zia graduated from the University of Manchester in 2001. He then undertook several training posts including Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry, which provide a fantastic grounding to become a Specialist Orthodontist. During this time he obtained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

He undertook his Specialist training in Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital and was awarded a Masters in Philosophy and obtained his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He subsequently gained entry onto the General Dental Councils Specialist list for orthodontics.

As a further recognition of his clinical expertise he was awarded a highly prestigious British Orthodontic Society Prize for excellence of his treated cases.

Zia is a registered provider of Incognito, the invisible “lingual brace” system and uses the latest orthodontic techniques such as Damon and Invisalign. This allows him to make the most informed decision when providing treatment for children or adults. Zia believes that orthodontic treatment should only ever be done once and holds a strong philosophy of retention to ensure his patients keep their lovely straight smile forever.

 

 

Hamza Parvez

Hamza qualified as a dentist in 2009 and holds the license to practice dentistry in 3 different continents. He has been working in hospitals and private facilities in Asia, Africa and the UK.

He further specialized in the field of Orthodontics at the prestigious King’s College London and worked at both King’s College Hospital and Guy’s Hospital, where he received his Masters in Orthodontics. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where he earned his MOrth degree. He has been trained under some of the leading names in Orthodontics. He also holds a Masters degree in Dental Public Health from King’s College London.

As a strong believer in life-long training, Hamza regularly attends conferences and courses around the world in order to keep up to date with the recent technological advances in orthodontics to benefit his patients. He is trained in all forms of conventional orthodontics as well as latest cutting edge techniques including aligner technology and invisible braces. He is an accredited provider of Incognito and Win Lingual braces, Invisalign and Invisalign teen provider.

Apart from dentistry, Hamza has passion for travelling, playing cricket and soccer.
